At Thriv, as a matter of policy, we work to minimize the environmental footprint of every event we do. Throughout the planning process we provide clients with options that further reduce that footprint.
A green event ensures that all aspects of an event, including location, food services, transportation, and the provision of materials, are approached with pollution prevention in mind to reduce the environmental impact. We can help in each of these areas, ensuring that all environmental considerations are addressed at every stage, and include environmental factors in every decision to purchase products or contract services.
Community Commitment
The Thriv Community Mission Statement
To invest our personal and professional talents to build a stronger Washington, DC All of us at Thriv are involved in the betterment of the greater Washington, DC area by volunteering our time and talents to improve our community. We work to help provide solutions in areas such as housing and feeding the homeless, drug and alcohol addiction, education, and literacy. In 2008, Brin Lewis was one of 12 volunteers in the United States honored by the Taproot Foundation, known as the “Business Peace Corps,” for his work as an Account Director. Brin’s pro bono work focuses on helping worthy non-profit organizations develop Key Messages and Brand Strategies allowing them to more effectively promote their organizations and garner the support they need to fund their projects. That’s just one example of what we do at Thriv to help build a better DC and a better America.
